Punish
Some servers may prefer to restrict staff from using fully custom punishments. For this reason, EasyStaff allows you to define preset reasons for the /punish command.
What Makes /punish Unique?
All punishment types, durations, and reasons are stored under one command. You don’t have to manually check a player’s history — the system handles it automatically. All you need to do is run:
/punish (player) (reason)
This streamlines the process and helps prevent mistakes or inconsistencies.
If you want staff to, for example, only mute but not ban players, you can configure permissions like so:
easystaff.punishments.punish.(type)
Supported types: tempban, ban, mute, tempmute, warn, kick
Example:
If a player has easystaff.punishments.punish.mute but not easystaff.punishments.punish.ban, they can mute players using /punish, but they cannot issue bans.
